The ability of a computer or other machine to perform those activities that are normally thought to require intelligence.
The branch of computer science concerned with the development of machines having this ability.

Her name is Hadaly and she’s a profoundly complex simulation–so intricate that her thoughts could be considered indistinguishable from human sentience. As technology progresses, the ability to model and simulate the human condition increases, perhaps one day we will have someone a lot like her in our community.

rather surprised that thought started square …. I was thinking it would have been more of a star shape … reaching out … we seem far more boxed in these many billions of years later … I look forward to see what is going to happen …

Hi, Mark! It’s awesome to see thee here. Yeah, I whipped this up last year while I was editing the Dread Vote novel. It’s not entirely done, but I am hoping to drive some interesting/traffic to it by running the comic.

Part of the idea is to have something to run while Vexations is on publication hiatus.

Yay! It’s finally online.

I got a sneak peek a long time ago, and I’ve been anticipating the whole series being done. Now, I’m going to get to see it.

I don’t think thought started as any shape, however, the one entity’s thoughts might have started square, or maybe just as a slight electrical flutter. That’d be hard to draw. I like the square. It’s clean and simple. Not a bad symbol.
